Last War KvK Preparation Checklist: Everything You Need

LW Spy · Independent fan website

Kingdom vs Kingdom (KvK) is the ultimate test of your server. You are matched against another server and fight for points across multiple days. The server that accumulates more points wins. Preparation starts days before the event begins, and intelligence gathering is the most critical preparation step.

7 Days Before KvK: Intelligence Baseline

Start scanning the enemy server (if the matchup is known) or your own server to baseline your strength. Use the Alliance Scanner to map your own alliance and identify weak members who need to upgrade. Run exposed scans to check your server's shield discipline. If too many players are regularly unshielded, your leadership needs to enforce better shield habits before the event.

3 Days Before: Enemy Server Reconnaissance

Once the enemy server is confirmed, scan their top alliances. Use LW Spy to map every major alliance's positions, power distributions, and shield discipline. Identify their strongest players (rally trap candidates to avoid) and their weakest (easy kill targets). Share this intelligence with your alliance leadership and build a target priority spreadsheet.

1 Day Before: Final Preparations

Run a final comprehensive scan of the enemy server. Check for last-minute base relocations and shield patterns. Verify your own alliance members are properly shielded and positioned. Test the Discord bot commands to make sure your war room channel is set up for real-time intelligence sharing during the event.

During KvK: Real-Time Scanning

This is where LW Spy shines. Run continuous scans during active KvK phases. Use the exposed target scanner to find enemies who drop shields to attack. Use the shield tracker to know exactly when enemy shields expire. Use the troop tracker to find gathering armies for easy kill points. Share everything in Discord for team-wide coordination.

VS Saturday Enemy Buster: Scanning for Kill-Event Targets

The VS week culminates on Saturday with Enemy Buster, where every kill is worth maximum points. The scoring is brutal: high-power kills score exponentially more than chip-damage on small bases, so finding ONE exposed mid-game whale is worth a hundred raids on bot bases. Run exposed-target scans every 15 minutes during Saturday active windows and filter by minimum power (typical sweet spot: above 50M but below 200M — strong enough for points, not strong enough to counter-rally a coordinated stack). Cross-reference with the shield-tracker so you can pre-stage rallies on whales whose shields drop in the next 30 minutes. Most alliances win or lose VS week on Saturday execution alone, and the rest of the week is just power-leveling for this single 24-hour window.

Post-KvK Analysis

After the event, use your scan data to analyze what worked and what did not. Which enemy targets gave the most points? Where did your alliance lose points? Use this intelligence to prepare better for the next KvK cycle.
