Last War Scanner Head-to-Head

LW Spy vs MapScout

Both products cover far more than player-coordinate lookup. MapScout advertises live shield timers, exposed bases, full alliance scans, gatherers, missions, trucks and trains, monitoring, and in-game delivery. LW Spy offers many of the same scan categories. The useful comparison is how each product presents and delivers that information.

Based on MapScout’s published feature list and LW Spy’s current features, checked 30 September 2026. “Not listed” means not verified, not necessarily unavailable. Features and plan limits can change.

TL;DR — at a glance

Both offer shield, exposed-base, alliance, gatherer, mission, truck and monitoring tools. MapScout also lists alliance trains and broad in-game DM sharing.

LW Spy offers an interactive map and Discord scan commands. MapScout offers sortable results and says it does not have an interactive map.

Compare current plan entitlements and test the exact scan workflow you use most.

Where the workflows differ

Map versus filtered results. LW Spy places findings on an interactive map, useful when distance and clusters matter. MapScout explicitly says it has no interactive map, but offers sortable filters. A list may be quicker when you already know your target criteria.

Trains and in-game delivery. MapScout lists an alliance train finder and send-to-game support for players, mines, missions, trucks, trains and other map objects. Its Live Monitor can auto-DM on shield drops. We should not present these as LW Spy-only advantages.

Discord workflow. LW Spy offers scan commands in Discord for a shared war room. MapScout’s published list describes in-game DMs and marks Discord DM delivery as coming soon; we have not verified comparable Discord scan commands.

Speed and reliability. Both services advertise fast scans, but we have no controlled head-to-head benchmark. Test the same server and command, and compare completeness as well as response time.

Which should you choose?

Choose LW Spy if an interactive map or Discord-based scanning suits your team. Consider MapScout if its filtered lists, alliance train finder or Ultra in-game delivery suit you better. Since the core scan categories overlap substantially, compare the current plans and try your most important server and command before deciding.

FAQ — LW Spy vs MapScout

Which scanner is faster?▾
We do not have a controlled, recent benchmark using the same servers, scan types and load. Neither service’s advertised time is a direct head-to-head result. Compare the commands and servers you actually use.
Does MapScout have shield timers, alliance scans and exposed targets?▾
Yes. MapScout publicly lists live shield countdowns, unshielded bases, full alliance scans, gatherers, secret and ghost missions, truck tracking and alliance trains. These are not LW Spy exclusives.
Does MapScout have Discord scan commands?▾
LW Spy offers Discord scan commands. MapScout’s published list mentions in-game DMs and labels Discord DM delivery as coming soon; we have not verified whether it has comparable Discord scan commands.
Can I use both LW Spy and MapScout together?▾
Yes. The services overlap in many scan categories, but LW Spy provides an interactive map and Discord scan commands, while MapScout publicly lists an alliance train finder and broad in-game delivery. Choose based on the workflow and plan features you actually need.
How does LW Spy support compare to MapScout support?▾
LW Spy offers support through its dashboard and Discord server. We do not have comparable, independently verified response-time data for either service. Contact both teams with a specific question if support is a deciding factor.
Is LW Spy more expensive than MapScout?▾
Prices and plan entitlements change. Check each service’s current pricing page. In particular, MapScout advertises in-game DM delivery and Live Monitor on its Ultra plan.
Does LW Spy work on the same warzones as MapScout?▾
Both services advertise cross-server scanning. Coverage can vary with game access and available scanner accounts; test the particular server you need rather than assuming either service covers every warzone.
Can I migrate my MapScout watchlist into LW Spy?▾
We have not verified a direct import path. You can add targets manually in LW Spy. MapScout also advertises shield-drop monitoring and automatic in-game alerts, so compare the notification channels and limits that fit your workflow.
