An alliance turret in Last War: Survival is a defensive building planted inside alliance flag territory that automatically attacks any enemy march or rally that enters the radius. Turrets provide passive defense while alliance members are offline and are a core part of alliance-territory war strategy.
Turrets are built by R4+ officers inside an alliance flag's radius. Each turret has its own HP pool, attack damage, and attack range, scaling with alliance tech and the turret's own upgrade level. When an enemy march or rally enters the turret's range, the turret fires automatically — every shot does flat damage to the incoming troops, capped per round.
Turret attacks are non-stop — there's no cooldown between salvos as long as enemy units are in range. A high-level turret can solo-kill a mid-tier solo march; a stacked rally with proper hero buffs will eat the turret HP and destroy it, but takes attrition damage in the process.
Turrets are the only "active 24/7" defense in Last War: Survival. Alliance members sleep; turrets don't. During KvK and Kill Events, when enemy attackers might hit at any hour, a well-built turret line makes the difference between losing flag territory while everyone is offline and waking up with the perimeter intact.
Turrets are also a deterrent. A turret-stacked alliance border tells passing enemies "expect attrition before you even get to a base", which routes opportunistic raiders to softer targets and lets the alliance gather safely inside the radius.
The downside is cost: turret HP costs alliance coin to repair after each attack. A turret that's been hit overnight may need a few hours of coin contributions to restore — which is why turrets are placed strategically (at chokepoints, not everywhere).
Best turret coordinates are chokepoints — the narrow corridors between alliance territory and enemy approach lanes, where every incoming march must pass through the turret range. A 3-turret line on a chokepoint is more effective than 6 turrets scattered across the territory.
Cover the high-value targets: place turrets within range of the alliance fortress, R5/R4 officer bases, and high-level gathering tiles inside the flag. Lower-priority territory (low-level gather tiles, empty space) doesn't justify the build cost.
Coordinate with the alliance flag radius — turrets can only exist inside a flag's radius, so if a flag is destroyed, all its turrets go with it. This makes flag protection a turret-priority too.
Turrets can be destroyed by repeated rally hits. A coordinated alliance can burn down a turret in 2-3 maxed rallies, taking troop attrition in the process. Top KvK alliances run "turret bash" squads — rally captains with high-HP tank-lead formations whose job is to soak turret damage so the rest of the alliance can push past safely.
The standard turret-bash sequence: rally the turret with disposable T8 troops (NOT your maxed T12 main army — turret damage is flat and kills cheap troops just as efficiently as expensive ones); after the turret falls, the alliance pushes the now-undefended territory in a single wave.
LW Spy's map scanner shows turret positions inside enemy flags. Before a war declaration, the war captain maps the enemy turret line and plans the rally order around taking the chokepoint turrets first.
Now that you know what alliance turret is, scan the warzone and see it live. LW Spy gives you real-time data on every base.
