KvK — Kingdom vs Kingdom — is the multi-day cross-warzone war event in Last War: Survival where your entire server is matched against another server and players cross over to fight directly. KvK is the highest-stakes regular content in the game and the source of the best gear, hero shards, and titles.
KvK runs on a multi-week cycle. The phases are: preparation (1-2 weeks before the war opens), matchmaking (servers paired by total power), travel (a short window where players can teleport into the enemy warzone), active war (the kill-counting window — usually 3-5 days), and rewards.
During preparation, alliance leadership runs reconnaissance — scanning the matched enemy warzone for whale locations, shield habits, and alliance turret placements. The LW Spy alliance scanner works cross-warzone, so leadership can audit every member of the top enemy alliances days before the war window opens.
During active war, points come from killing enemy troops, destroying enemy alliance buildings, occupying KvK landmarks (capital, strongholds), and completing daily KvK missions. Both servers earn points in parallel and the higher score at the end of the window wins.
KvK rewards are tier-defining. Winning servers get exclusive hero shards (sometimes hero unlocks that aren't obtainable any other way), title buffs that last until the next KvK, alliance-wide stat boosts, and the highest individual MVP rewards in the game. Losing KvK costs you all of that PLUS the troop losses you took during the war.
KvK also drives the in-game economy. Top KvK winners stockpile resources from the rewards and from looting enemy gathering tiles, which fuels their power growth for the next KvK cycle. Losing servers fall behind on resources AND on hero progression, which compounds.
Strategically, KvK is when alliance loyalty matters most. Players who are dead weight in regular content get carried; in KvK they're a liability because every empty 100-slot in an alliance is points the alliance leaves on the table. This is why top alliances aggressively recruit and kick around the KvK schedule.
Two weeks out: max all shield stockpile, complete construction queue, finish key research nodes, get heroes to the next gear breakpoint. Three days out: stop training troops (so the new troops aren't at low promotion); save speedups; clear all gathering quests.
One day out: full shield, healer queue ready, march presets configured, alliance Discord war-room briefed. Hour zero: when the war window opens, the matched enemy warzone becomes targetable — top alliances pre-stage rallies on the enemy whale list (scanned in the prep phase) and land hits in the first 5 minutes.
During active war: rotate shield up/down windows with the alliance schedule. Never gather unshielded. Funnel kill credit to the designated MVP candidates to maximize individual rewards. Run a shield tracker sweep on the enemy side every 5-10 minutes to find newly exposed targets.
KvK is server-vs-server with cross-warzone teleport. Versus Week (VS Days) is intra-server competition between players of the same warzone, organized as a daily-objectives leaderboard race. Server War / Alliance Wars are alliance-vs-alliance battles within the same warzone. These three content types use different rules, different match-making, and different reward pools.
KvK is the one where the LW Spy cross-warzone scanner matters most — because for one week of the cycle you actually need to know what's happening on a foreign server, which the in-game UI is bad at surfacing.
Now that you know what kingdom vs kingdom is, scan the warzone and see it live. LW Spy gives you real-time data on every base.
