Last War Truck Plunder Guide: Cargo, Refreshes and Rewards

LW Spy · Independent fan website

For truck plunder in Last War, inspect the actual cargo, defending squad and remaining attempts before choosing a target. A truck’s color alone is not a reward guarantee. This guide separates refreshing your own dispatch from refreshing the list of other players’ trucks—two different decisions that should not be treated as one hidden ‘UR trick’.

Dispatch refresh versus target-list refresh

When preparing your own truck, compare its displayed rewards with the cost of another refresh. When looking for a truck to plunder, compare available targets and the squad defending each one. A guarantee or counter shown in one screen should not be assumed to apply to the other.

There is no substantiated basis here for the previously published claim that pacing six target-list refreshes guarantees a UR target. Nor should a 10–30 second pause be treated as a proven way to manipulate matchmaking. Use the rules and counters actually displayed in the game.

A repeatable target-selection checklist

Treat the daily opportunity as a limited reward budget. Choose the cargo you need and a battle you can reasonably win.

  • Check the target’s warzone and your alliance’s agreements before attacking.
  • Inspect the visible cargo, not just the rarity color.
  • Compare the defending heroes and squad with your available team; total account power is not the same as squad strength.
  • Check remaining plunder availability and any relevant restrictions in the current screen.
  • After combat, read the report for what you actually received. Do not count the entire displayed cargo as your reward.

Is a truck with hero shards always better?

Not necessarily. A valuable cargo is unhelpful if you cannot beat its defenders, and not every account has the same bottleneck. Decide whether your next useful upgrade needs shards or another item, then compare realistic targets. For example, between a difficult truck with an attractive shard and a beatable truck with useful materials, the second can be the more sensible use of an attempt. This is a decision framework, not a claim about a particular drop probability.

Set a refresh budget before you start

Choose a stopping point in advance so a disappointing refresh does not turn into an unplanned spending session. Separate free opportunities from paid currency or consumables. Record what you spent and what you received for a few days if you want to judge your own results. A small lucky streak is not evidence that a timing trick improves the underlying odds.

VS days and changing truck rules

Before dispatching, check whether today’s Alliance Duel task rewards the truck you are about to send. Dispatch and plunder are different actions; one does not automatically satisfy a task for the other. Read current event rules for special trucks and research effects instead of assuming every event increases all rarity tiers.

References and limitations

These player-authored guides document truck screens and the distinction between dispatching and plundering. Their numerical limits may differ from your current research or event. This article deliberately does not promise a fixed shard multiplier or guaranteed refresh result.
