How to Find Player Coordinates in Last War

LW Spy · Independent fan website

To identify a Last War base reliably, keep three pieces of information together: warzone/server number, X coordinate and Y coordinate. A name helps verify the result, but names and locations can change. You do not need to transfer your character merely to interpret a coordinate reference.

Start with the information you already have

If you have a shared in-game location, open it and confirm the warzone and occupant. If you have only a screenshot, transcribe the server number and X/Y separately; do not assume the sender’s current server is the one shown. If you have only a name, first establish the player’s warzone and, if possible, alliance tag.

Looking up a player with LW Spy

The player-search feature is a starting point for finding a named player in scan results. Supply the relevant server and name as requested by the interface, then compare matches with the alliance and other known details. Available results depend on the information returned by the service. A failed lookup is not proof that the player does not exist.

Copy a name from selectable text when possible. If you transcribe a screenshot, check look-alike letters, decorative characters and spaces. Avoid treating two accounts with similar names as the same person.

How to verify a coordinate result

Check the server first, then the two axes and finally the current occupant. Include an observation time when sharing the result. If the map position is empty or occupied by someone else, the original player may have moved; the old coordinates are not a permanent identifier.

  • Server or warzone: explicitly recorded.
  • Position: X and Y labelled separately.
  • Identity: current name and alliance checked against the result.
  • Freshness: when and where the position was observed.
  • Confirmation: re-open in the game before acting on an old report.

Coordinates do not provide a permanent player directory

There is no universal static list that stays correct for every player and server. Bases move and names change. A coordinate list is useful only if its scope and observation time are visible. Use a consistent template for your own alliance notes rather than presenting a historical snapshot as live data.

Troubleshooting: wrong server, no match or stale position

For a wrong-server result, obtain the full reference again instead of guessing from the player’s name. For no match, check spelling and the server number before retrying. For an old position, seek a newer observation or ask the player to share a current location. Map viewing, scanning coverage and the ability to travel there are separate questions; finding a location does not grant access to an event or destination.
